WFCW Spring Event

APRIL 23, 2016

10am -2pm (Rain date 4/30)

Celebrate Earth Day with WFCW, NUNA’s block club neighbor to the north. Get ready for spring with us and learn the ins and outs of living green in Chicago and in our own community!

This free event is open to the public and all ages are welcome.  The day will be chock full of exhibits and workshops which include rain gardens/native plants, vermicomposting, bike tune-ups, green pet products, organic lawn care, kids’ activities, fermentation demonstration, and much more. Clean off your shelves and bring books to donate to the Friends of Bezazian book sale. We’ll also have local coffee and some libations to spice up the day!

Come out to meet your neighbors and discover how you can help nurture the environment in your own home and neighborhood. WFCW is dedicated to greening the neighborhood. Come learn how you can help! There will be trash bags and gloves for cleaning up the litter, too. So, join us to help make our neighborhood shine!
